ABOUT US

Paradise on Earth Recycling began as the vision of a young entrepreneur, Atanga Martin Tabifor. His dream took shape in 2016 when operations first launched in Nigeria, later expanding to his home country, Cameroon. Driven by a passion for reducing poverty and protecting the environment, Martin saw the urgent need to address waste pollution—a major challenge across Africa, where non-biodegradable waste accumulates for centuries and contributes to environmental degradation.

Paradise on Earth Recycling is committed to reducing waste by recycling and reintegrating materials into the value chain, advancing a circular economy. But our mission goes beyond the environment. High unemployment is another pressing challenge in Africa. Through the Paradise on Earth Vocational Training Centre, we involve unemployed individuals—empowering them as part of the recycling process. Waste pickers collect plastics and glass from streets and households, receiving incentives in return. By doing so, we support some of the most vulnerable members of society, helping them take the first steps toward a brighter future.
